Effective Date: September 28, 2026
Last Updated: September 28, 2026

1. Introduction

CyberRun (“the App”) is a cybersecurity awareness and educational simulation designed to help users learn about cybersecurity threats and safe digital practices through interactive games, missions, and simulated scenarios.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use CyberRun.

By using CyberRun, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

CyberRun is designed to operate without requiring users to create an account or provide personally identifiable information.

The App does not intentionally collect personal information such as:

Game activity, including mission progress, scores, achievements, threat severity, and other gameplay information, may be stored locally on the user’s device to support the functionality of the App.

3. Local Data Storage

CyberRun may store application data locally on your device using technologies provided by the device’s operating system.

Locally stored information may include:

This information is used to provide and maintain the gameplay experience.

Deleting CyberRun or clearing its application data may remove locally stored progress and settings.

4. How We Use Information

CyberRun does not use gameplay information to create advertising profiles.

5. Cybersecurity Simulations

CyberRun contains simulated cybersecurity scenarios involving subjects such as phishing emails, suspicious URLs, removable USB devices, passwords, social engineering, and other cybersecurity risks.

These scenarios are educational simulations.

CyberRun does not represent simulated emails, URLs, threat levels, or security incidents as actual threats detected on the user’s device.

6. Device Permissions

CyberRun may request device permissions if they are required for specific application functionality.

Permissions are only intended to be used for the functionality for which they are requested.

CyberRun does not intentionally access unrelated personal information stored on your device.

7. Third-Party Services

CyberRun may rely on software libraries, operating-system services, or third-party technologies required for application functionality.

These services may operate according to their own privacy policies.

If analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, cloud storage, authentication, or other third-party services are introduced in future versions of CyberRun, this Privacy Policy will be updated where appropriate.

8. Advertising

CyberRun does not currently display third-party advertisements.

CyberRun does not sell personal information to advertisers.

9. Data Sharing

CyberRun does not intentionally sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information.

Because the current version of CyberRun is designed primarily to store gameplay information locally, gameplay information is not intentionally shared with external parties unless required to provide a feature disclosed to the user or required by law.

10. Data Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect information handled by CyberRun.

However, no software application, device, or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Users should maintain appropriate security protections on their devices, including operating-system updates, screen locks, and other available security controls.

11. Children’s Privacy

CyberRun is an educational cybersecurity awareness application and does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children.

If CyberRun is made available to children through a school, organisation, or supervised educational environment, its use should comply with applicable policies and legal requirements.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected contrary to applicable requirements, appropriate steps will be taken to address the situation.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Gameplay information stored locally remains on the user’s device until it is removed by the App, cleared through the device’s application settings, or removed when the App is uninstalled, depending on the operating system’s behaviour.

Because CyberRun does not currently require user accounts, there may be no remotely stored user account or associated personal information to delete.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as CyberRun evolves or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.

Changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this policy.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
